The Alton Memory Care and Care Suites is pleased to be the first showcase site in the State of Minnesota for Intelligent InSites, a leading developer of real-time location and communication solutions for health and senior care communities. Our partnership with Intelligent InSites provides a state-of-the-art, noninvasive resident call and communication system which monitors day-to-day resident activities. 
The system combines innovative location-sensing hardware and software which provide significant improvements in resident care and staff effectiveness. Through this wireless system, residents wear a call pendant so that activities can be monitored in “real time” to enhance all aspects of their quality of life while continuing to respect their privacy and dignity.
In addition to enabling staff to instantly locate residents and other staff members anywhere in the community, the system also provides wireless nurse call, security, access control and real-time voice and text communication. The system offers an important balance which combines the efficiencies of technology with the all important aspect of human touch.
Thanks to this advanced system, families are able to receive a comprehensive overview of their family member's activities allowing them to be an integral part of the care team.
